Drawings and Sketches

This site portrays aspects of Wassily Leontief's life that many input-output scholars never saw.

After his death his colleagues discovered sketches Professor Leontief had drawn throughout his life. These sketches revealed aspects of his personality: his sharp eye for political commentary, the portraits of students and colleagues, his sensitive observations during his student's Ph.D. examinations, as well as others.

The sketches presented here are a few of the many he drew.
