The southern part of Mexico City has an ample number of hotels, some of high quality and not all that expensive. The UNAM has established special deals with some of them, which they apply whenever UNAM hosts an international conference. Below is a list of various hotels. Most of them are close to the venue and presently have different regular rates in US dollars. Those at the end of the list are cheaper but a bit more distant from the venue. Some of the high-quality hotels close to the venue have will have special rates for students as long as they are willing to book three or four people to the rooms.. The first hotel in the list below, i.e., The Radisson is the closest to the conference venue and the most comfortable too. We highly recommended Council members, stay here.

Transportation

All hotels close to the University have ready access to the city's very good taxi cab system. In addition, there is an in-campus bus system and a good Metro-bus service along Insurgentes Avenue. If most people stay in the nearby hotels, the Local Organization Committee will arrange bus services for taking conference participants back and forth between the hotel and the conference venue during key hours.
