International Travel Guidelines
Following to Malaysia’s latest relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions, travelling from another country to Langkawi is about to get as effortless as pre-pandemic.
Effective on 1st May 2022, Malaysia government has taken a proactive move by easing up most of the travelling restrictions which include the exception of COVID-19 testing upon arrival and quarantine for the fully vaccinated travellers. However, travellers 18 years old and above who are partially vaccinated or unvaccinated are required to do pre-departure COVID-19 test and upload the result within two days before departure.
Full Vaccination Definition
Full vaccination definition varies based on the type of vaccine. Participant can refer to table below for reference. All fully vaccinated travellers are exempted from quarantine. For travellers with COVID-19 digital vaccination certificates issued overseas, please verify your digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate here before departure. If you have previously verified your digital vaccination certificate on the MySejahtera application, you can skip this step. This also applies to Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) travellers. Malaysia will also accept COVID-19 vaccines that are not listed under the World Health Organisation’s Emergency Use Listing but are approved by regulatory agencies in other countries.

COVID-19 Negative Test Result Certificate before departure.
This is information related to the Covid-19 PCR test for conference participants who wish to make verification and requires a PCR certificate of a negative test before returning to their respective countries
*Participants who require to undergo the test, please inform the LOC, 3 days prior the departure date. The LOC will help to assist for the booking of the Test

Travelling Insurance
