The climate in Sardinia can be described as mediterranean and temperate, with mild winters, hot and sunny summers, sometimes muggy but mitigated by sea breezes and winds.
The sky is mostly sunny throughout the year, there are only minimal cloudy days. Normally in the coastal areas the temperature is milder than in the internal areas, where there are harsher winters and hotter summers. The thermal excursion between day and night can vary by several degrees, going from 25/35 °C during the day to 15/20 °C during the night in the internal areas.
In the coastal areas night values of about 25 °C are usual during the summer, while during the day 30 °C to 35 °C are measured on average.
The average minimum temperature in Alghero is 15 °C in June, while the average maximum daytime temperature lies around 28°C. June is a dry month with an average of 13 mm rain.

What to wear in June?
Visitors traveling to Alghero might wear dresses, tops, T-shirts and skirts. For greater comfort, it is suggested to bring a windbreaker or a sweater just in case you are not used to go from 28 °C to 15 °C during a day. With a water temperature of around 22° C, this is a great month to swim so bring your swimwear.
