The IIOA 2026 welcome cocktail will take place at the Royal Tobacco Factory (Real Fábrica de Tabacos), the historic headquarters of the University of Seville. The building is located within walking distance of Hotel Novotel, and the map that will appear below this text will help participants easily visualize both its location and the short route between the hotel and the venue.

The Royal Tobacco Factory is one of Seville’s most emblematic monuments and one of the largest industrial buildings of the 18^th century. Originally built as Europe’s main tobacco factory, it has been home to the University of Seville since the mid‑20^th century, housing the Rectorate and several academic departments. Its monumental courtyards, stone façades, and neoclassical architecture make it an exceptional setting for the conference’s welcome event.
